In preparation for the World Championship Orienteering Orienteering and Trail- which will land in the Veneto and Trentino 5 to 13 July 2014, the IOF - International Orienteering Federation , in collaboration with the Organizing Committee of the World Trail Orienteering Championship 2014 has opened nominations seminar for judges of Trail -O to be held on 20 and 21 June Folgaria (TN) . The two-day course will be in conjunction with the pre- WTOC training camp to be held June 19 to 21 and introduce the Italian Championship Trail -O of 22 and 23 June in their program in Folgaria .
The two-day course will be held by Roberta Falda , member of the Trail- O and competition judge IOF Senior, with the goal of training new judges Trail- O and upgrade those already active in view of the major national events and international . It will be for each national federation to identify the most suitable candidates with proven experience at international level.
During the seminar we will discuss the skills of the judges of the IOF Trail -O , the nature of different race format than deepening on the regulations. Participants will also take part in the pre- WTOC training camp , scheduled on the same days , and watch the Italian Trail Orienteering Championships which will be staged in Folgaria on 22 and 23 June .
Finally , the materials of the seminar will be made available in advance on the website of the International Orienteering Federation at www.orienteering.org .

The organizing committee is taking steps to agree a set of packages for the hospitality of the participants and will provide more information in the coming weeks .
Even this event , like the one with the expected World Championships discipline, is an excellent showcase for the territories chosen as the destination of events. It therefore aims to promote the international markets also lesser-known destinations , shifting the spotlight right on them , and offering a good opportunity to visibility and appeal to a wide audience of technical, sports and enthusiasts.
Meanwhile , the areas that will be the scene in July 2014 for the World Orienteering have been visited by the team of Swedish specialties , French and Swiss who have tested proving to appreciate the location and the selected soils , without setting foot , of course , in areas embargate that will remain off-limits to the world championship races , not to create any benefit to future competitors. Even the workouts and the Italian Championship will remain well away from the " red zones " .
