In four months the World Foot Orienteering and Trail Orienteering Championships Start.
Orienteers from 37 countries and 5 continents already entered at the event between Trentino and Veneto in Italy.
 
From 5 to 12 July the land of Venice, the highland of Asiago (VI), Lavarone and Luserna (TN ), the city of Trento and Valsugana welcome the specialists in Foot and Trail Orienteering. Today nations entered in various competitions are 37, with the list progressively update. They range from American continent with Argentina, Brazil, Canada and the United States; Oceanic continent with Australia and New Zealand; Asian continent with China, North Korea, Japan and Hong Kong; South Africa and many European states of Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Bulgaria, Denmark, Estonia, Finland , France, Germany, Great Britain, Ireland, Lithuania , Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Russia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine and Hungary. Italy will do the honors with the great desire to jump on some podium in front of their home crowd .

Last weekend in Turkey the 2014 World Cup in Foot Orienteering kicked off and the national of Switzerland and Sweden were put in a special light , so they are standing right now in the first predicted for the WOC 2014.

On the same land the Organizing Committee has set up the Italian 5 Days of Italy (WOC Tour), the event intends to combine outdoor sports at any level, the fun in being in groups and learn orienteers from all over the globe and the tourist aspect in architectural gems such as Venice and Trento or through town with unique charm between the two regions of Trentino and Veneto. The third deadline for entries 5 Days of Italy was moved to March 31. The program of the " Five Days " reads the prologue in Venice Saturday, July 5th , followed by step in Turcio - Asiago, Levico Terme, Lavarone and Campomulo, with races planned corollary in Folgaria and Asiago.
